From Hegel
The Viking plays 12cm Redbook CDs. That's it. No SACD, no multi-format disc support. Hegel built this one around a single job.
Outputs include balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA at 2.5V RMS, plus a BNC digital output. The transport is a top-loading slot mechanism.
Hegel positions the Viking as a simple, focused CD player for systems that already have a streamer, DAC, or both.
