Klimax DSM

Klimax DSM is Linn's flagship network music player, machined from solid aluminium and built to sit at the front of a full Klimax system. It streams from a network or a connected drive, and handles files up to 24-bit/384kHz across FLAC, Apple Lossless, WAV, DSD (64/128/256), MP3, WMA, AIFF, AAC, and OGG.

Built-in services include TIDAL, Qobuz, Spotify Connect, Deezer, AirPlay 2, Roon Ready, airable, TuneIn, and Calm Radio, over WiFi 802.11ac or wired ethernet, with an SFP optical ethernet input available too. Two Exakt Link outputs carry the digital signal to Linn's Exakt speakers, bypassing a separate DAC and amplifier stage entirely.

Analogue connections cover a balanced XLR pair, an unbalanced RCA pair, and Toslink and SPDIF digital outputs, alongside a USB Type B port. An AV variant adds four HDMI inputs and an HDMI 2.0 output supporting 4K at 60Hz with HDR and eARC. The chassis measures 350 mm wide, 350 mm deep, and 126 mm tall, weighing 16.4 kg, in silver or black anodised.
