The Klimax LP12 is the flagship version of Linn's Sondek LP12 turntable. It's built for listeners who want the most refined version of that platform, whether they're returning to familiar records or hearing new pressings for the first time.
Power comes from a precious-metal brushed DC motor with a moving coil rotor, isolated acoustically in its own housing to keep motor noise out of the signal. The deck runs dual speed, 33⅓ and 45 rpm, and measures 445 mm wide, 140 mm high, and 356 mm deep.
Standard finishes include Oak, Cherry, Black Ash, Rosenut, and Walnut, smooth or fluted. Special finishes extend to high-gloss wood, Piano Black, Alpine White, or a custom color match, so the deck can sit in a Klimax system or stand on its own as a dedicated vinyl front end.
