From Linn
The Klimax Solo 500 is a single-channel monoblock power amplifier, machined from solid aluminium into a low-profile enclosure. Like the Klimax Solo 800, it runs on Adaptive Bias Control and a Utopik power supply, one amp per speaker.
Output reaches 500W into 4Ω or 250W into 8Ω, with distortion as low as 0.0004% THD+N at 1kHz and an output impedance of 0.01Ω. A single RCA phono input handles the signal, with a passthrough RCA phono output for linking a second unit.
The chassis stands just 88.5 mm tall, at 350 mm wide and 364 mm deep, weighing 10.6 kg. Speaker outputs are binding-post terminals that accept banana or spade connectors, finished in silver or black anodised.
