Klimax Solo 800

The Klimax Solo 800 is a monoblock power amplifier that delivers 800W into 4Ω using Linn's Adaptive Bias Control technology. It runs one channel per amp, so a stereo system needs a matched pair.

From Linn

The Klimax Solo 800 is a single-channel monoblock power amplifier. Adaptive Bias Control shapes how the output stage handles the signal, and a 2kW Utopik power supply feeds it.

Output runs to 800W into 4Ω, 400W into 8Ω, or 1.2kW into 2Ω, with distortion figures as low as 0.0004% THD+N at 1kHz. Output impedance is 0.01Ω at 1kHz.

It takes a single RCA phono input with a matching passthrough for daisy-chaining a second unit. Speaker outputs are binding-post terminals that accept banana or spade connectors. The chassis measures 350 mm wide, 268 mm high, and 412 mm deep, weighing 27 kg, in silver or black anodised finish.
