Klimax System

The Klimax System combines Klimax DSM with Linn's 360 loudspeakers into one Exakt setup. The 360s run as fully active 4-way floorstanders, with the digital crossover and amplification handled end to end rather than split across separate boxes.

Klimax DSM streams FLAC, Apple Lossless, WAV, DSD (64/128/256), MP3, WMA, AIFF, AAC, and OGG at up to 24-bit/384kHz, with TIDAL, Qobuz, Spotify Connect, AirPlay, Roon, airable, TuneIn, and Calm Radio built in. It connects to the 360s over two Exakt Link outputs, and is machined from solid aluminium, measuring 350 mm wide, 350 mm deep, and 126 mm tall.

The 360 speakers use a 19mm thin-ply woven carbon dome tweeter, a 64mm thin-ply woven carbon dome midrange, a 190mm aluminium upper bass diaphragm, and two 220mm long-throw aluminium lower bass diaphragms, run by Class A/B amplifiers with Adaptive Bias Control and an all-digital Power DAC bass system. Space Optimisation+ handles room correction across the system, which supports surround configurations.

Speaker finishes span the Glasgow Collection (Clyde Built, Single Malt, Linn Heritage), the Signature Collection (Triton), and the Classic Collection (Piano Black, Alpine White, Walnut), plus custom color matching. The 360 cabinets stand 1141 mm tall on their stands and weigh 66.4 kg each.
