Majik DSM is Linn's entry-level network music player, and unlike the Selekt and Klimax DSM above it, it carries two built-in 100W Class D power amps. That means it can drive a pair of speakers on its own, without a separate power amplifier in the chain.
It streams FLAC, Apple Lossless, WAV, DSD (64/128/256), MP3, WMA, AIFF, AAC, and OGG at up to 24-bit/384kHz, with TIDAL, Qobuz, Spotify Connect, Deezer, AirPlay 2, Roon Ready, airable, TuneIn, and Calm Radio built in. WiFi runs on 802.11ac, and one Exakt Link output connects to Exakt speakers.
A built-in phono stage covers MM or MC cartridges, plus two line-level RCA phono inputs and a quarter-inch headphone jack. Speaker connections run through binding posts that accept banana or spade connectors, and two RCA subwoofer outputs are included.
Built from precision-cut and folded aluminium, it measures 350 mm wide, 372 mm deep, and 114 mm tall, weighing 5.7 kg. It's finished in black.
