Series 5 is a 3-way floorstanding speaker in Linn's Exakt range. A digital crossover and three onboard 100W amplifiers replace the usual passive network, so the drive units run active.
The Isobarik bass system pairs two 165mm bass drivers to load the cabinet, backed by a 133mm doped two-layer slice midrange and a 19mm silk dome tweeter with an anti-resonant chamber. Space Optimisation+ handles room correction over the Exakt Link connection.
Cabinet volume runs 30 litres, in a 232 mm wide, 954 mm tall, 325 mm deep enclosure weighing 30 kg. Standard Fabrik covers Aubergine, Black, Blueberry, Butterscotch, and Paprika, with a Harris Tweed option in Barley, Granite, Grouse, Peat, or Spruce, and a black or white stand and top plate.
