The Series 5 System pairs a Selekt DSM hub, in Classic or Edition styling, with Linn's Series 5 floorstanding speakers. Each speaker runs an Exakt digital crossover with three onboard 100W amplifiers, so the drive units are powered directly rather than through a separate amp.
The hub streams up to 24-bit/384kHz across FLAC, Apple Lossless, WAV, DSD (64/128/256), MP3, WMA, AIFF, AAC, and OGG, with TIDAL, Qobuz, Spotify Connect, Deezer, AirPlay 2, Roon, airable, TuneIn, and Calm Radio built in. A configurable MM/MC phono stage handles turntable input, and Space Optimisation+ manages room correction.
Each Series 5 speaker uses a 19mm silk dome tweeter with an anti-resonant chamber, a 133mm doped two-layer slice midrange, and an Isobarik bass system with two 165mm drivers, loaded into a 30-litre, 232 mm wide, 954 mm tall, 325 mm deep cabinet weighing 30 kg.
Standard Fabrik covers Aubergine, Black, Blueberry, Butterscotch, and Paprika, with a Harris Tweed option in Barley, Granite, Grouse, Peat, or Spruce. The stand and top plate come in black or white, and the Selekt DSM hub in Classic or Edition, black or silver.
