The four ECC82-type tubes at the heart of the Jubilee Preamp SE feed a discrete semiconductor output stage with an output impedance of just 33 ohms. That low impedance means the preamp can drive power amplifiers with input impedance as low as 600 ohms over cable runs up to 8 meters without losing stability.
The XLR inputs use input transformers built in-house, specified for modern DACs with output levels up to 8V RMS, an input impedance of 80kOhm, and a frequency range of 5Hz to 150kHz at 0.005% total harmonic distortion. Gain is switchable between 10dB and 16dB on RCA, or 16dB and 22dB on XLR.
Dual RCA and XLR outputs support bi-amping, tri-amping, or quad-amping setups, and switchable gain, phase, and mono controls round out the configuration options. A 47-position stepped attenuator is available as an option for the volume control.
