V 70 SE
The V 70 SE is a line-level tube amplifier running four 6550 JJ output tubes, delivering 70W at 4 ohms. Its enhanced pentode configuration stays stable down to a 3 ohm load.

Two 6550 JJ power tetrodes per channel drive the V 70 SE to 70W at 4 ohms, with the BIAS control and monitoring system allowing other pin-compatible output tubes if you want to experiment with tone or take advantage of newer tube types. A single impedance output transformer keeps the amplifier stable against unstable loudspeaker impedance, down to a 3 ohm minimum.
Five line-level RCA inputs, one wired as a Home Theatre Bypass and one available as a phono input with the optional MC or MM board, join a single XLR input. A regulated preamp output, record output, and speaker terminals cover the outputs.
Eco Mode, a BIAS display, soft-start protection circuitry, and a connection for the Black Box or Super Black Box round out the feature set. The V 70 SE shares its chassis family with the V 40 SE but runs at higher power for larger rooms or less efficient speakers.
