Luna applies RIAA correction through LCR (inductor-capacitor-resistor) equalization, a method that's rare because of its complexity. Most phono stages use simpler RC networks.

The LCR approach handles the RIAA curve with passive components, keeping active gain stages out of the equalization path. It's a top-tier tube phono preamplifier.
