From Von Schweikert

The ULTRA.9 succeeds the ULTRA.7 with upgraded crossover components, advanced drivers, and MasterBuilt ULTRA cabling throughout. A ribbon super-tweeter extends response well beyond audibility.

A rear-mounted ribbon super-tweeter and horn-loaded ambient tweeter build a wide, holographic soundstage. A built-in rear-mounted Shockwave subwoofer handles bass down to 15 Hz. Per-band controls let you tailor each driver's output for the room.
