From Von Schweikert

The VR.30 runs three ultra-fast ceramic honeycomb woofers alongside a low-mass ceramic midrange, a beryllium dome tweeter, and a rear-mounted ambient retrieval ribbon driver. Hand-built point-to-point crossovers are wired with MasterBuilt Reference cabling throughout.

Available passive or with the Foundation Hybrid Bass Management System. Like all VSA loudspeakers, it has no discernible sweet spot.
