Air Tight

Atsushi Miura spent 30 years at Luxman before founding A&M Limited in 1986 with Masami Ishiguro, and Air Tight amplifiers have been hand-built in Japan ever since. The factory in Takatsuki, between Kyoto and Osaka, wires every ATM series amplifier point to point. No circuit boards. The ATM-300 single-ended triode amp and the company's moving coil cartridges have a devoted following, and The Absolute Sound put Miura in its Hall of Fame in 2016. It's tube sound built the slow way: direct signal paths, premium parts, human hands.
