Gauder Akustik

Physicist Dr. Roland Gauder designs every loudspeaker his company builds in Renningen, near Stuttgart. The cabinets skip conventional boxes: Berlina and DARC models stack machined ribs (aluminum on the DARC series) into curved enclosures that won't ring. His symmetrical crossovers run at 60 dB per octave, far steeper than industry practice, so each ceramic or diamond driver covers only the band it handles best. The lineup spans the Arcona, Capello, Berlina, and DARC series, all made in Germany. The result is bass with real grip and a clean, unstrained top end you can listen to for hours.
