Harbeth

Dudley Harwood ran loudspeaker research at the BBC before starting Harbeth in 1977 to build monitors his own way. The company still hand-builds every speaker in Lindfield, Sussex, around its own RADIAL cone material, a polymer Harbeth developed with British government research funding. The range runs from the compact P3ESR to the M40 studio monitor, and the new NLE series extends the idea to active designs. Put on a vocal record. Voices arrive with the coloration removed, and once you've heard that, it's hard to settle for less.
