A listening room tuned with Acoustic Grove System wooden columns
fig. 01 · Nihon Onkyo Engineering AGSphotograph

Nihon Onkyo Engineering has designed studio acoustics in Tokyo since 1972, building rooms for broadcasters like Fuji TV and Asahi Broadcasting. AGS, the Acoustic Grove System, packs that experience into a freestanding wooden panel: rows of round wooden columns, sized and spaced the way tree trunks scatter sound in a forest. It's acoustic treatment. The columns diffuse reflections evenly, so the room keeps its life while the echo goes. Set a pair behind your speakers and the soundstage deepens, focus sharpens, and harshness drains away.
