Per Kristoffersen founded Peak Consult in 1996 in Middelfart, Denmark, and the company still builds every cabinet in its own workshop there. Construction is furniture grade: a triple-layer sandwich with damping between the layers, finished in 14 mm of solid American walnut. Drivers are made in Denmark to Peak's own spec. Since 2021 the firm has been led by Dynaudio co-founder Wilfried Ehrenholz and CEO Lennart Asbjørn. Production stays small on purpose.
