Silent Angel approaches streaming as a network engineering problem, because that's what its founders do. Network specialist Chorus Chuang started the brand in 2014, and parent company Thunder Data builds servers, network storage, and communications hardware for a living. That background shows in the catalog: Bonn audiophile network switches, Rhein music servers, Forester linear power supplies, and Genesis word clocks, all aimed at noise, jitter, and unstable power in digital playback. The gear runs the company's own VitOS operating system. Fix the network and streaming stops sounding digital. That's the whole idea.
