Audrius Balciunas founded Silent Pound in Kaunas, Lithuania in 2022 because he wanted music to sound believable in real homes, and ordinary rooms wouldn't cooperate. Working with acoustics specialists at Kaunas University of Technology, he developed a patent-pending midrange design that controls how sound radiates into the room: more direct sound, fewer reflections, stable imaging. The result is 2 handcrafted speakers, the Bloom standmount and the Challenger II floorstander, built in small batches. Stereophile put them on its August 2026 cover. Your room stops fighting the music.
