TEAC has been building recording and playback gear since 1953, when aviation engineer Katsuma Tani started the company in Tokyo. Its reel-to-reel decks taped a generation of music, and its TASCAM division still equips studios worldwide. Today's Reference Series brings that history to your shelf: compact CD players with the VRDS clamping transport, USB DACs, amplifiers, and belt-drive turntables. The gear is small. The engineering runs deep. It's built for listeners who want serious sound in half-width boxes that fit real rooms.
