Thöress

Reinhard Thöress studied mathematics and physics at RWTH Aachen, then spent the mid-1990s building single-ended tube amplifiers around directly heated triodes. He's still at work in central Aachen, winding his own transformers on a 1964 coil machine and wiring every circuit by hand, point to point, with zero feedback. The line covers preamps, phono stages, 300B and 845 monos, the EHT hybrid amplifiers, and 2 loudspeakers. Everything wears gray. The retro livery honors early professional gear, and the sound stays fast and direct.
