The MB2-A SE is the mid-sized active model in PMC's SE monitor range, positioned between the IB2 SE and BB5-A SE in output and bass extension.
Its Radial bass unit uses an exposed exo-skeleton frame around the driver: the design keeps the cone rigid through large excursions, and the exposed fins act as a heat sink to keep the voice coil cool. Bass extends down to 20Hz.
It's built for studio monitoring and high-output home systems that need accurate bass down to the low end of the audible range.
