PMC

PMC started in 1991, when BBC engineer Peter Thomas and Adrian Loader built the BB5, a studio monitor so capable that the BBC and Metropolis Studios bought it straight away. Prince used BB5s. So does Stevie Wonder's Wonderland studio. Every PMC speaker uses the company's Advanced Transmission Line: a long, damped path inside the cabinet that absorbs the driver's rear wave and vents the deepest bass in phase, acting as a second bass driver. PMC still builds in Biggleswade, England, and holds an Emmy. At home, you'll hear the mix the way the engineer did.
