The MB2 SE is the passive version of PMC's mid-sized SE monitor, sitting between the IB2 SE and BB5 SE in the range.
It shares the Radial bass unit used across the SE range: an exo-skeleton frame that keeps the cone rigid through large excursions, with exposed fins acting as a heat sink for the voice coil. Bass extends down to 20Hz.
It requires external amplification and suits studios or home systems already running a separate power amp.
