The prodigy5 takes the prodigy platform into a floorstanding cabinet while keeping the footprint close to that of a stand-mounted speaker.
It runs PMC's ATL bass loading, which lets the narrow cabinet fill larger rooms with weighty, defined bass rather than the thin sound narrow towers often produce.
It suits rooms too big for a standmount pair but too tight for a full-size floorstander.
