The Michi Q5 combines a CD transport with a standalone DAC in one chassis. The ESS ES9028PRO handles conversion.
Digital inputs include PC-USB (32-bit/384kHz), optical, coaxial, and AES/EBU. The CNC aluminum CD mechanism sits above the DAC section.
Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs feed a preamplifier or stereo amplifier.
