The RC-1590MKII is built as a reference-grade preamplifier. It accepts balanced XLR, unbalanced RCA, digital (optical, coaxial), PC-USB, Bluetooth, and phono (moving magnet) sources.
The DAC section runs at 32-bit/384kHz. Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs feed into a power amplifier.
It's the top of Rotel's preamplifier range.
