The SL-1200G is a Grand Class direct drive turntable system designed for analog record playback. Technics uses a coreless direct-drive motor to address cogging, with rotation control informed by Blu-ray Disc technology. The build also includes a 3-layer platter with deadening rubber, factory balance adjustment, and a high-sensitivity magnesium tonearm.
