From Technics

The SL-1500CS is a Premium Class direct drive turntable system based on the SL-1500C platform. It uses a coreless direct drive motor with Delta Sigma Drive control for stable rotation, plus a high-sensitivity tonearm. Technics includes a built-in Phono EQ, Ortofon 2M Red cartridge, short signal path from tonearm to Phono EQ, auto lifter, high-rigidity body, and high-damping silicon insulators.
