The TD 1601 adds convenience features to the TD 1600 platform: electronic speed switching, auto-stop, and balanced XLR output alongside unbalanced RCA.
The suspended subchassis design, two-part platter, and wooden plinth are shared with the TD 1600. The tonearm is sold separately.
