Graham Audio builds monitor loudspeakers by hand in Newton Abbot, Devon, under license from the BBC. Founder Paul Graham, with more than 20 years in professional audio, revived the LS5/9 in 2013 alongside designer Derek Hughes, whose parents founded Spendor. The range now includes the LS3/5, LS5/5, and LS5/8, plus original designs, all with thin-wall birch ply cabinets and hand-made drive units. One builder assembles and tests each speaker, and a second checks it against a master reference. That's the BBC way. Voices come through natural and unhyped.
