Unison Research

Unison Research has built tube amplifiers near Treviso, Italy since 1987, when designer Giovanni Maria Sacchetti and a few fellow audiophiles founded the company. Early models like the Triode 20 and Simply Two became collector pieces. It's all still assembled by hand in the Italian workshop. Wood is part of the signature. Sculpted solid panels sit alongside the glowing valves, and the hybrid Unico line pairs tube input stages with solid-state power for less money. The house sound is warm and full-blooded, what the company calls Italian sound, and it flatters voices.
