Audiolab launched in Huntingdon, England in 1983 with a single product, the 8000A integrated amplifier, and that one box earned a reputation for doing everything well at a fair price. The formula stuck. Today the company designs the 6000, 7000, and 9000 series in the UK: amplifiers built on its Complementary Feedback topology, plus DACs and CD transports that reviewers keep calling the benchmark at their prices.
