Physicist Siegfried Amft founded the company in Herford, Germany in 1978, and its engineers still develop everything there: circuits, software, drivers, cabinets. The catalog runs from the HV Series flagship electronics through streaming DACs, loudspeakers, and the Solitaire headphones, all sold through specialist dealers. It's science in service of music.
